Here's what I have completed:
Challenge 5 - vintage hosted by Holley's Hobbies
Challenge 7 - Subway Art - summer memories hosted by Essence of Paper
I was so busy trying to figure out what "subway art"style is, that I forgot the "summer memories" part of the challenge. This was definitely a new style for me. And me being me, I didn't do it quite like Marti explained it. I googled for some additional ideas, found mention of this idea and went with it!
Challenge 8 Photo Inspiration hosted by Scrappily Ever After
Challenge 9 - Easy as 1, 2, 3 hosted by Thinking of Inking
It wasn't easy. I ended up asking my daughter to pick out 2 stamps and the sentiment because it was beyond me to do so today! Of course as soon as she gave me the stamps, I came up with a couple of other great ideas! I may try them at a later date!
Challenge 10 - 2 cards, 1 stamp hosted by It's a colourful world
As soon as I saw this challenge, I knew exactly which stamp I was going to use to create 2 seasons! A couple of years ago when Hero Arts released this stamp they had a blog hop. Tim (Holtz) used it and created a card for each season! I LOVED it then, I LOVE it now!
Challenge 11 - Pinwheels hosted by Hello From Kate
This is not a very good photo - I will retake it in the morning. |
Challenge 13 was mine! If you didn't see my challenge post, click here to see it!
That's all I managed to finish today. All in all I made 12 cards (not counting my 2 samples I made for my challenge!) I have a couple of others in various stages of completion and ideas for a couple of others. We will see how tomorrow goes and how many I get done!
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you are having a fantastic weekend!
Linda
PS - If you have any questions about the products I used, let me know. I will try to get the list posted tomorrow sometime.
Tim had a great idea - and you used it well! LOVE your cards! Thanks for joining in my challenge!
