With hours to spare

With hours to spare I completed an entry for the 2nd week of CCC at Studio L3!   Nothin' like working under a deadline!

I started a project earlier in the week, it just wouldn't come together.   In an effort to create something for the challenge this week, I created this ATC.  The background is a Kleenex box, the flower is out of grungepaper/board "leftover" from Tim's birdcage die. For the flower I misted Mustard Seed re-inker mixed with Sunflower Sparkle Perfect Pearls. For the stem and leaves I used Forest Moss  Distress Ink directly on the paper then misted with Peeled Paint mixed with Blue Smoke Perfect Pearls.  The sentiment (Great Impressions) was stamped in Staz-on Jet Black Ink.   The lady bug is from my stash.  Everything was attached  with Glossy Accents.

Hope you all a great weekend!  Have a fabulous week!

  1. Girlfriend, you finished in plenty of time! I'm a last-minute kind of girl myself, so I can relate to the "working under pressure" experience.

Now, as for your altered Kleenex box: It's AWESOME! What a fun, original and completely delightful way to approach the Fragments Basics Challenge! Darling imagery, great composition... you rocked it!

I'm so glad you stayed on board for the second challenge, and I very much hope to see you for Week 3!

    Hugs,
    The Other Linda

  2. Hi Linda~your creation is so sweet! Way to stay with it & let us all see how great it turned out! I've had fun doing these challenges, though this CCC #2 had me a bit frustrated. But, like you, I stuck with it & finished my entry on time too (with just a bit to spare). Yay for us! Now, onto CCC #3~can't wait! Have a marvy day, Suzie
